GlowQR – Privacy Policy

GlowQR (“the App”) is developed by Jonathan Wright (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.
GlowQR does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
We do not collect:
Names
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Photos or media
Contact lists
Location data
Usage analytics
Device identifiers
QR code contents
Any data stored in the app
All QR codes and settings remain localized to your device only.
GlowQR stores the following solely on your device:
QR codes you create
QR codes you scan
Selected themes
Pro unlock status
This information:
Is stored locally
Is not transmitted to any server
Is deleted when you uninstall the app or delete items manually
We never have access to this data.
GlowQR requires camera access only when using the built-in QR scanner.
The camera feed stays on device
It is not recorded or transmitted
It is used only to detect QR codes in real-time
GlowQR offers a one-time upgrade to “GlowQR Pro”.
All purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store. We do not receive or store:
Credit card numbers
Billing information
Apple ID details
Apple handles all purchase authentication and security.
GlowQR uses Google AdMob to show advertisements for free users.
AdMob may collect:
Device identifiers
Approximate (coarse) location
Interaction with ads
Diagnostics and performance data
AdMob’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Important: Once GlowQR Pro is unlocked, the app disables all advertising, and AdMob is no longer active.
No other third-party SDKs or analytics tools are used.
GlowQR does not collect personal data and does not target children. The app contains no accounts, messaging, or social features.
We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
