Add shifts

Use the + button in the Schedule tab to add shifts

Bulk add or rotation templates are available for faster setup

Log sleep

Log sleep manually in the Sleep tab

Or sync sleep from Apple Health (Pro feature)

Widgets

Add OffShift widgets from the Home Screen or Lock Screen

Widgets update automatically as your schedule or sleep changes

❀️ Apple Health Integration

If you enable Apple Health sync:

OffShift reads sleep data only

Health access can be changed anytime in the Health app: Health β†’ Profile β†’ Apps β†’ OffShift

If sleep doesn’t appear after syncing:

Confirm OffShift has permission to read Sleep

Make sure sleep exists in Apple Health

Try syncing again after reopening the app

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID:

🧩 Troubleshooting

Widgets not updating

Open OffShift once to refresh data

Make sure Background App Refresh is enabled

Widgets may take a few minutes to refresh

Sleep looks wrong

Sleep crossing midnight may appear grouped differently

This is expected behavior for shift work and naps

Duplicate shifts

OffShift automatically detects possible duplicates

You’ll see recommendations in the Schedule view
